Sure, the open-source community has its share of voices calling for intellectual property reform (that is, the elimination of software patents and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act). When it comes to asserting the traditional privileges of intellectual property ownership, however, open-source developers can be as aggressive as any Hollywood studio executive.
